Badrinath is a pilgrimage town in the Himalayan state of Uttarakhand in north India. It is one of four main pilgrimage places for Hindus in the Himalayas known as the "Char Dham".
The Badrinath Temple is the centerpiece of the town, which houses the deity of Badrinarayan established by Shankaracharya.
